A Vampire in the studio

Lately, I’ve been diving deep into art, and I came across The Bat Woman by Albert Joseph Penot. It sparked an idea—what if I reimagined it with a dark, Vampire Halloween twist?

The concept started forming: picture a peasant girl attacked by a vampire and left for dead in the woods. But instead of dying, she transforms—feral, wild, something otherworldly. Now imagine stumbling upon her in that haunted forest…

I pitched this wild idea to Sonya. She probably thought I’d lost it—but she was all in.
